Monster type was inspired by the ‘organic’ forms that came about when editing a random pattern on my computer. A fun whimsical typeface that could maybe find its way into the 3D world! It was then implemented into my ‘Merch Mantra’, a project where we had to find a mantra and create a design system around it. Implementing my Monster Type into the saying “tried and true” speaks to working hard to act according to morals and your passions in order to make your place in the world.
